Deer Poachers Head to Jail

Two Oregon hunters will serve four annual 90-day jail terms beginning on Oct. 1, the first day of deer season, as punishment for illegally killing more than 300 deer over the past five years, according to reports. They’ve also been stripped of their hunting privileges and been forced to pay restitution of tens of thousands of dollars. Shane and Rory Donoho made deer virtually non-existent in some areas.

Chicago’s recent ordinance restricting handgun possession to inside the home, mandating an hour of range training as a prerequisite to gun ownership, among other measures probably violates citizens’ Second Amendment rights and was temporarily shelved by local courts, according to reports.
